Drake Circus Shopping Centre, HVM

About This Project

The provision of Hostile Vehicle Mitigation Measures to the main pedestrian entrances of Drake Circus Shopping Centre, the majority of which were within the public realm. The works were carried out both during and outside of trading hours to minimise both cost and potential for disruption to the general public, Centre customers and operations.

The Role

We were engaged from inception by our repeat client and managed the project team through the challenging planning application process and highways approvals as well as numerous intrusive site investigations. Procurement was via negotiation with a local main contractor and led to the successful on-site delivery to both budget and programme.
