About This Project

The development is a significant project both for the client and Plymouth City Council, regenerating a tired post-war bus station. A 12 screen “IMAX” cinema, 15 restaurants, 420 space car park and public realm, will extend the city centre and is part of a wider £400M+ portfolio of property assets held by the client in the city. Drake Circus Leisure will become an exciting leisure destination and includes a distinctive public realm aligned with the City’s strategic pedestrian permeability aspirations. A rooftop “Skybar” will also offer visitors “the best seat in Plymouth” views across the harbour.

The Role

Enborne are the Project and Development Manager / Employers Agent for this iconic regeneration project, currently under construction within a complex and challenging site. In addition to our PM and EA duties, we advised on property related aspects under the development agreement and continue to work closely with the Client and Council on development related matters, including the management of various and obligations. These included negotiating complex third party matters with adjoining property owners and significant “no build” statutory authority restrictions. The scheme is currently under construction, within budget and on programme to open Q4 2019.
